EARLY DAYS

What was your childhood like?

I had a very happy childhood, and was very much a performer ‐ I would perform different dance routines constantly to anyone that would watch!

Did you play sports?

Apart from dancing, no. I hated P.E in school! I would have rather sit and played with my dolls or read a book.

Where did you grow up?

United Kingdom, Manchester

Who did you look up to?

My mum.


FAMILY

Is your family active and/or into fitness?

A lot of my family members enjoy some kind of exercise ‐ whether that be weight training or running.

Any family members compete or play sports?

My sister was a gymnast and dancer and my cousin is also a dancer, but other than that no.

Does your family support your lifestyle?

Yes. It was hard for everyone to grasp at first when I completely changed my lifestyle and started competing, but I couldn’t have asked for a better support system! I now live very much what is considered a 'normal' lifestyle, not much different to my family members.

Were they on-board from the beginning or did it take time?

Although it did take a bit of time to get used to, they were still on board and supported me 100% from the beginning of my competing journey.

Are you married, engaged, in a relationship?

In a relationship.

Do you have kids? How many and what ages?

No.

Animals? How many and what kind?

One dog, bullmastiff (girl).


INTRO TO FITNESS

When did you first get introduced to fitness?

I began dancing from a young age.

Who made the intro?

My mum.

Did you like it at first?

Yes, I fell in love straight away.

What made you decide to pursue it?

I enjoyed it and was good at it.

What was your goal when you first stepped into the gym?

To not make a fool of myself in front of everyone as I didn’t really know what I was doing haha!! To get fitter and change my body also.

How do you feel fitness has changed your life?

I now have an outlet for my emotions, I have something that I enjoy doing, I have a successful business based around fitness, I'm able to help change the life of others through fitness (which is the most fulfilling feeling), I've learned things about myself and developed skills which have transferred to different areas of my life.

What are your goals now compared to when you first started?

When I first started my goals quickly became about being the smallest/skinniest version of myself that I could be… My goals now are to maintain/build my curves!
