The only easy day was yesterday.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO FITNESS AND COMPETING?
In regards to fitness, I have been lifting since I was 14 years old, my father wouldn't let me compete in football unless I was lifting, I fell in love with the gym almost instantaneously. The competing aspect, in a nutshell, my football career was cut short. I met Kevin Levrone and he had me on stage within a year. I placed 2nd in my first show to qualify for nationals and I've been hooked ever since!
HOW DO YOU BALANCE YOUR SOCIAL LIFE AND FITNESS LIFE?
Very carefully. I work around 50 hours a week at my job, so between work and training (twice on the weekends), food prep, keeping up with the house, errands, etc, it leaves very little time for a "social life" so I choose whom I spend that time with carefully.
WHO DO YOU LOOK UP TO IN THE FITNESS INDUSTRY
First and foremost Kevin Levrone, I have no idea where I would be if it weren't for him! Chris Cormier has helped me out a ton while I first got going on the national scene. After that there is a long list of amazing and selfless people that I will be indebted to for a long time.
